Morris Minor
Keith Wright's Morris Minor is raced in the Classic Touring Car Racing Club's Classic Saloons and Historic Touring Car (pre66) Championship.

Suspension Modifications
Amoung the modifications carried out by SVG Motor Sport are the fitting of a new front anti-roll bar and adjustable front tie-bars. These provide greater front end stability during cornering with the adjustable tie-bars used to tune the the castor angle of the front suspension.

Rear axle radius arms
Rear axle radius arms
Rear axle radius arms have been fitted, these are also known as anti-tramp bars. They help with traction away from the startline as they stop the rear axle tubes from twisting when taking up drive. The radius arms are also used to control the axles movement from side to side which improves the cars cornering performance.

Balancing the cars weight

Corner Weights
Using our scales we are able to acccurately measure the vehicles weight overall. We are able to measure the front and rear weight as a percentage of the whole car and also the left to right weight, again by percentage. This allows us to add, move or remove weight in the vehicle to balance the car correctly from front to rear and side to side.

Tracking
Our equipment allows us to check and adjust both the front and rear tracking. The rear is checked to make sure the rear axle is square in the car and that the camber and toe (where adjustable) is the same on both sides. The front is also checked in the same way. The amount of camber, castor and toe (again where adjustable) all contribute to the overall handling of the vehicle and it is worth while taking time over this process as it can have a major impact on performance.
