Running in the Pre-93 Classic Saloon and Historic Touring Car Championship.

Bodyshell: BMW E30 two door steel shell with steel boot and doors. Fibreglass bonnet and standard glass. Painted red with graphics package.

BMW EngineEngine: BMW six cylinder overhead camshaft engine, 2494cc. Standard block with balanced standard crankshaft, conrods and pistons. Ported, polished and skimmed cylinder head with standard valves, steel rockers and CAT camshaft. Custom made programmable ECU. NGK spark plugs, SVG exhaust system. Large aluminium radiator with electric cooling fan.

Transmission: Lightened flywheel, heavy duty clutch, standard five speed BMW gearbox, limited slip differential.

Suspension: Two way adjustable GAZ Gold coil over shock absorbers with uprated springs. Poly bushed throughout, front anti-roll bar.

Brakes: Front – Brembo cross drilled/grooved discs, standard calipers with Mintex 1166 competition brake pads. Rear – Standard discs and callipers with Mintex 1144 brake pads. Cable operated handbrake. Braided brake hoses and AP Racing brake fluid.

Fuel System: Alloy fuel cell mounted in spare wheel well. Bosch high pressure fuel pump. Running Shell V-Power.

BMW race car cage detailInterior: Custom Cages multipoint rollcage attached to front and rear suspension turrets fitted by SVG Motor Sport. Corbeau Revelution seat with Luke six point harness. Bespoke wiring loom and custom switch box. Removeable steering wheel, custom dash with Racetech tacho, water temperature and oil pressure gauges. Plumbed in fire extinguisher system.

Wheels & Tyres: BMW 7X15 lattice style wheels with Toyo 888R control tyres.
